Most of the time Calgary weather sucks. It's colder than I would like 95% of the time. It's hot for only about a week in summer (and your lucky if that week comes all at once). The winters are long and cold and snowy. A severe thunderstorm warning means 5 flashes of lightening and 1 medium clap of thunder...the list of complaints could go on for a while here...but then there are nights like this:
These were taken 2 days before the summer solstice, after a warm sunny day, at 10:30 at night! It's so bright in the mornings (by 5am) and late at night that the days get very productive and give you a little extra umph to get one more thing off the always growing to do list. Good thing you have these saving graces Calgary otherwise I'd already be living in California...or Peru...or Australia...or...
