Triangles become squares of course!

12 of them in fact Figuring it all out
tada! Well, not the final tada, but that's enough for one (birth)day!

What do you call a quilt?

I can't decide on a good name for this quilt. The BWY (black white yellow) quilt, Debbie Quilt ('cause that's who gave me the fabric...) How do people refer to their quilts, I don't know. But if you have any suggestions please let me know! Regardless of what I call it, this is the progress on it! 192 strips become... 48 rectangles that become... 48 triangles (and 96 scrappy triangles) that will eventually become the next blog entry!

eat, sleep, sew, spanish, first aid, exercise, repeat...

Things haven't slowed down, the last couple of weeks, nor have I bought a new memory card so crappy phone pictures it is! I did manage to find some time here and there and finish washing and ironing this colourful fabric I bought last Christmas! I want to make a quilt of it but not sure of a pattern or if the colurs are right...Really I should just stop thinking about it and do it. If you have any ideas please tell me about colour or patter:) This is some of the fabric that I started cutting for a new quilt. I've been scouting ideas and think I found a pattern I like and am trying to duplicated it without actually having the pattern. Not sure if it will work out or in the end I will have a quilt with a bunch of long strips sewn together! Yesterday Gord and I tried rock climbing. It's only the 2nd tallest wall in North America, no biggie. The shelf Gord's standing on is a little less than half way to the top, needless to say neither of us made it to the top...yet. We had lots of fun and although feeling a bit sore today we are excited to go back a few more times and see if it's something we can maybe get into...maybe...
