This past weekend I moved all, well most, of my plants into the sun room for the summer - which has yet to arrive (it's actually been the first week since snow wasn't in the forecast). It's freezing in this room in the winter as it's not insulated, but in the summer it's nice and toasty and my favorite place to be with a cup of tea and a book.
This week I also have cut and am ready to sew what will be possibly the most ugliest quilt made. This is just a sample of the mis-matched scrap madness which will soon be keep us nice and cozy when we are camping. It's all scrap flannel fabric that I'll also put batting in with a flannel backing. I love being warm! Hopefully summer will come any day as we have two big camping trips planned to Wainwright, where Gord grew up, and also to Montana with hopefully some little trips in there too. Why I'm making ugly quilts when I have this beautiful fabric I do not know. I bought this in Australia (except for the bottom owls that Christine sneek-bought for me - thank you!) and I love it but I'm just not sure what to make with it yet....I think I'll just admire it for a while longer...
