Last Friday April 23rd it was beautiful out and the snow had melted from the hundredth spring storm and Gord and I went and laid in the sun in our park (Confederation Park - It's where we had our first date, awwwww)
When I was away at a conference in Red Deer last week for work, I finished binding my second quilt in the evening times (I know I'm wild). I really like how this one turned out - not so country charm-ish. It was quilted by Nancy at Crazy Creek Creations, she was wonderful and I will definitely go back there when the next one is done...I'm hoping for fall http://crazycreekcreations.blogspot.com
Two weeks ago I planted these to eventually put them in our garden. They've been sitting in the sun room and although it's cold at night it gets very hot during the day and they've exploded! They've grown so much I had to take a picture of them. I love our sun room - it gets so humid and warm in there, I can't wait to move my plants back in for for the summer! Adelaide count down - 11 days!!
Ah Lindsay your quilt looks lovely and thank you so much for acknowledging my quilting. I can't wait to see the next one - I think your a natural quilter - great job!
