Spring!

Besides planting things and sunshine (and the occasional snow storm) there have been other sure signs of spring happening lately...

Maceo is desperately trying to be a normal cat, more than usual, but she's terrified of the outside world. She seems to get struck by moments of spring fever and really wants to go outside (with a gentle nudge). But she mostly sits by the door and meows desperately to get let back inside

Anthony finally got around to digging into his Easter chocolate....

And our front yard has turned into the enchanted forest of sorts. Last year we had two ducks visit for a couple of weeks and they seem to be back. They show up in the evening, get some bread, take a nap, then are gone in the morning. Besides ducks, we've had lots of rabbits and a couple of pheasants too. And this springs most notable event - a trip to Australia!
