Lists

Peru, wedding, peru, wedding...my brain goes in circles these last couple of weeks. The last little bit has been all about lists. Lists for Peru and lists for the wedding and we are so on top of it I think we might deserve a medal. Gord and I, and there might have been a bit more Gord than I, finished planning and booking our hostels and flights for Peru. It was a bit tricky at times but we slowly figured it all out and many emails and a few funny phone calls to Peru later (where my Spanish was put to the test and didn't really pass with more than an F) we are all set to go with a crazy itinerary. We will be exhausted and sweaty and cold and tired and sick (from the guinea pig and altitude) but I'm sure also we will be amazed and happy. The wedding list is also being slowly crossed off. We only have a few more little things to do and then we can sit back and enjoy all the company of our far away families:) Can't wait to have everyone here, even though the thought sometimes is overwhelming, I know it will not likely happen again and so I plan on enjoying every minute.

  1. On your top list, does it say "Call Mom"? Let me know if you get a hold of her...I need to ask her how she makes her awesome lasagne! LOL!

We cant wait to see you either...although true to his spirit, Aiden is quite worried about the airplane ride and keeps have re-occurng "bad dreams" (he's never sleeping when he has these so called bad dreams so they are just negative thoughts...which is a whole other can of worms!) that the door opens on the plane and he falls off. I think he is going to take after mom. Do you think I could get some valium for him before the flight? Do they prescribe that for kids? LOL! I think a good dose of Camomile before we hit the plane is in the plans! Talk to you this weekend.
